Then we have the challenge for you!

Climb any mountain of your choice from the comfort of your own home.

How to take part

Taking part is easy! Simply register online and pay your £10 registration fee. We'll then send you a Mencap Mountain Challenge pack via email.

When you sign up you can select the mountain you want to climb and the timeframe you want to complete it in.

To make it easy we’ve worked out the number of flights for 10 of the most well-known mountains in the world.

Make sure you’ve got your fitness tracker ready! There will be a handy guide in your pack but a fitbit or smartphone is great for helping track your progress.

Why take part?

Staying at home is vital to protect our communities at this time, however we know it can be tough. We want to help keep your spirits up and help you focus on positive thoughts as you reap the benefits of improving your fitness while achieving something amazing and having fun at the same time!

It can be a personal challenge or why not get the whole family involved and take part with the kids? Perfect activity for P.E. classes at home! If you’re really competitive then sign up with work colleagues or your club mates and see who can complete the challenge faster or raise the most money.

Most importantly, by taking part in the Mencap Mountain challenge you will be helping to change the lives and create a brighter future for children and adults with a learning disability .
