How to make a complaint to Mencap

Mencap prides itself on the quality of its services but if something has gone wrong with your support from Mencap, you should tell us.

It is OK to complain as it can be a good way of helping us make our services better. We need to know what is wrong so we can put it right.

The Mencap complaints policy explains how someone can make a complaint about Mencap and what they can expect from us when they do this. Every complaint received will be managed in line with our complaints policy even when escalated to a senior leader in the organisation .

The Mencap compliments policy explains how we manage, record and respond to compliments from external stakeholders. This may include people we support, families, carers, healthcare professionals or members of the public.
