We’re on a mission - and you can be part of it.

People with a learning disability are dying on average nearly 20 years younger than people without a learning disability. And almost 2 in 5 deaths were avoidable.

That’s why our I’m In campaign is raising awareness of the learning disability register - and encouraging everyone with a learning disability to join.

Being on the learning disability register means that your needs are respected, you receive better healthcare, and a free health check every year.

First you need to join the learning disability register. Then it's time to join our I'm In campaign.

When you take part, we’ll send you a free I’m In badge to show your support and spread the word.

Let's harness the power of social media to make a real difference!

Please share the I'm in campaign message widely across all your social channels - from Facebook and X (Twitter) to Instagram and beyond. A simple share or post can make people aware about the need to join the learning disability register.

The learning disability register is not just a list; it is the essential gateway that unlocks priority access to vital healthcare, including crucial annual health checks, for individuals with a learning disability.

By using your voice online, you become an active partner in breaking down health inequalities and ensuring that everyone in this community gets the equitable care they deserve. Use the campaign hashtag #ImIn and encourage everyone you know to say "I'm in"

Chat with your friends, neighbours, or local groups about why joining the learning disability register matters. Maybe it’s over a cuppa at a coffee morning, during a school event, or while you’re at the community centre. Every conversation makes a difference.

You can help people understand that being on the learning disability register opens the door to better healthcare and free annual health checks - things that can genuinely save lives.

When you talk to people face-to-face, you can answer questions, build trust, and encourage those who might not have joined yet. It’s these small, personal moments that can lead to big changes - helping make sure everyone in our community gets the care and respect they deserve.

After you've joined our I'm In campaign we'll send you an I'm In! badge to help you spread awareness of the learning disability register.
