Why run the Cardiff Half Marathon for Mencap?

The Cardiff Half Marathon was founded in 2003 when 1,500 runners took part. Right now, it attracts mass runners for over 27,500 including world-class athletes, contested men's, women's and wheelchair elite races.

The route is flat and passes all the city's iconic scenery including Cardiff Castle, the Principality Stadium, Civic Centre and Cardiff Bay.

In addition, by running for Mencap you will be helping us support thousands of people with a learning disability so they can live happy, and healthy lives.
