A BIG thank you to everyone who took part in One Big Walk 2024. Every step, and penny raised, has helped us to raise awareness and vital funds to support people with a learning disability across the UK.

If you weren’t able to organise your own One Big Walk in 2024, do not fear as we’ll be back in 2025! Register your interest for One Big Walk 2025 and you’ll receive reminders closer to the date, as well as receiving your fundraising pack.

What is the One Big Walk challenge?

There are 1.5 million people in the UK with a learning disability. We’d like you to use that number to raise awareness and set your own One Big Walk challenge! How about…

  • A 1.5 mile walk every day in September.
  • An ambitious 15 miles in one day.
  • A total distance of 150 miles walked across the whole of September.

...or something else, the choice is yours!

What fundraisers have to say about this walk for charity

"I would say to anyone to go and do it next year.  Walking helps you to keep fit and it also helps your mental health.

Finally, it can help you raise lots of money for charity, it is really worth doing!”
