"Over the last number of years, Mencap Children's Centre in Belfast has been a tremendous support to our family, particularly for my middle son, Luke, who was diagnosed with Williams syndrome at just 15 months old. The care, guidance , and resources they have provided have made a real difference in our lives, and I wanted to find a meaningful way to express my gratitude."

"Supporting the centre through fundraising felt like the perfect way to give back and help other families who rely on their invaluable services.

Between September 2024 and December 2024, Bangor Ex-Servicemen's Club came together to organize a series of fundraising events in aid of Mencap Children's Centre. We held a sponsored walk, a lively BBQ, and several lottery raffles, each of which saw fantastic support from club members and the wider community . The generosity and enthusiasm of everyone involved were truly heartwarming, and it was incredible to see so many people come together for such an important cause.

Through these events, we managed to raise an amazing £4,000, which was donated to Mencap Children’s Centre. Knowing that this money will help them continue their essential work supporting children with learning disabilities and their families means the world to us. I am deeply grateful to everyone who contributed, participated, or supported us in anyway — it was a true team effort, and together, we were able to make a real difference."
