Down syndrome, also known as Down's syndrome, is a type of disability. People with Down syndrome may find it hard to learn new things and may need support. They may have more problems with their health too.

These include: schools, social care (support for people), parks and dustbin collection. raised over £500 through a delicious cake sale, tombola, and a fabulous sock sale.
- Go Ahead London rocked their sock on the bus.
- GPE raised over £675 by holding a sock shop selling Stand Out Socks and donating the proceeds to us.
- Chopstix created and designed their own sock which they sold to colleagues and customers.
- Stoke Council hosted an incredible bingo night and sold mouthwatering cakes.

All of the money raised will help us continue in our vision for the UK to be the best place in the world for people with a
learning disability
A learning disability is to do with the way someone's brain works. It makes it harder for someone to learn, understand or do things.
