A huge thank you to everyone who rocked their socks in March and raised vital funds for Mencap!

Whether they were stripy or spotty; colourful or plain; we want to say a big thank you to everyone who wore their socks on World Down Syndrome Day on the 21st March. We know you rocked your socks in a variety of places at home, at school and at a work.

A special thank you for your fundraising

  • Wigan Council raised over £500 through a delicious cake sale, tombola, and a fabulous sock sale.
  • Go Ahead London rocked their sock on the bus.
  • GPE raised over £675 by holding a sock shop selling Stand Out Socks and donating the proceeds to us.
  • Chopstix created and designed their own sock which they sold to colleagues and customers.
  • Stoke Council hosted an incredible bingo night and sold mouthwatering cakes.
