We work with the government The Government are the people who run the country. They decide how much tax people should pay for things and how things like the National Health Service should work. and organisations Organisations are groups like companies and businesses. like the NHS The NHS is the National Health Service. The NHS gives free healthcare to everyone in the UK and includes things like your GP (doctors) surgery and hospitals. .

Policy Shapers
Policy Shapers are a group of people with a learning disability and their families who help Mencap by answering surveys each month. The surveys help Mencap tell decision makers what life is like for people with a learning disability.

- Are you happy to tell us what you think?
- Are you happy to take part in surveys?
- Do you want to help us to make things better for people with a learning disability?
If you answered 'yes' you can be a Policy Shaper!
We will only email you to ask you for your help a few times a year.
You do not have to help us every time we send you a survey.
As a thank you, every time a Policy Shaper answers one of our surveys, we enter them into a prize draw to win a £25 gift card.
