How to use our online advice tool

Our advice tool is something we have made on some of our webpages that will help you find what you are looking for.

An advice tool looks like a square in a webpage which has buttons.

Clicking on the buttons will take you to the things you want to know about.

Some buttons look like round dots. These are called radio buttons.

Some buttons look like rectangles.

Radio buttons sit next to a sentence about the information they will take you to.

After you click on a radio button you need to click the word 'Next' to go to the next page.

On rectangle buttons it tells you what sort of information they will take you to.

When you click on a rectangle button you go straight to the next page.

Rectangle buttons that have a square and an arrow symbol on them.

These rectangle buttons will take you out of the advice tool and into the webpage that has the things you wanted to know about.

Rectangle buttons that have a right arrow symbol on them.

These rectangle buttons will take you to another advice tool page that has more buttons to choose from.

If you want to go back to the page you have just been to, click the word 'Back' which is under all the buttons.

To go back to the start, click on the word 'Restart' which is under all the buttons.

Some of our advice tools also have a read aloud aid on them.

The read aloud aid can read some of the words in the advice tool out aloud.

Click on the black arrow in a read aloud aid to hear the sentence on the advice tool being read out aloud.

You will need to have speakers on your computer to use the read aloud aid.
