Mencap/Rag‘n’Bone Man: Instagram Rock Your Socks competition Terms and Conditions

  1. The promoter of the Competition is Royal Mencap Society (Mencap), a registered charity (number 222377) in England and Wales, of 6 Cyrus Way, Hampton, Peterborough PE7 8HP.
     
  2. The Competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 16 years or over (at the time of entry) except employees of Mencap and their close relatives and any other third party connected with the administration, organisation or judging of the Competition.
     
  3. The Competition is free to enter and no purchase is necessary.
     
  4. By entering this Competition, participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions.
     
  5. To enter the Competition, participants must:
    - like and comment on the Rock Your Socks campaign post shared on the Mencap Instagram account; 
    and;
    - follow the @mencap and @ragnboneman Instagram accounts.
     
  6. There is a limit of one entry per participant in this Competition – if a participant comments multiple times, this will only count as one entry.
     
  7. The Competition will open at 9am (GMT) on 21 March 2025 and the closing date for entries will be 12pm on 31 March 2025. Entries received after this time will not be counted. Mencap accepts no responsibility for entries not received for whatever reason.
     
  8. There will be 1 main prize and 4 runner-up prizes in the Competition and the winners will receive:
    a) 1st place prize winner: two (2) standard, standing tickets to a Rag‘n’Bone Man concert at any UK tour dates as listed on the Rag'n'Bone man website.
    B) 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th place prize winners: a pair of Rag‘n’Bone man limited edition socks each.
     
  9. The 1st place prize winner may choose from available UK tour dates subject to ticket availability and venue capacity. Mencap does not guarantee availability for any specific date or location.
     
  10. The 1st place prize is for the Concert tickets only. The 1st place prize winner is responsible for all additional costs including (but not limited to) accommodation, travel, food, and any other expenses related to attending the Concert.
     
  11. The Concert will be subject to specific venue age restrictions and policies. Participants are strictly responsible for checking any applicable venue restrictions and policies.
     
  12. The winners will be chosen by the Mencap based on a random draw.
     
  13. The winners will be notified by direct message on Instagram by @mencap by no later than 12pm (GMT) on 1 April 2025 or, alternatively, Mencap will comment on a winning post asking the winner to send a direct message on Instagram to @mencap to claim the prize.
     
  14. If a winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 7 days of notification, Mencap reserves the right to select a replacement winner.
     
  15. The prizes are as stated and non-transferable, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. Mencap reserves the right to replace any prize with an alternative prize of an equivalent value if circumstances beyond its control makes it necessary to do so.
     
  16. Mencap reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or amend the Competition where it becomes necessary to do so. Mencap will notify participants of any changes as soon as possible.
     
  17. Mencap’s decision regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
     
  18. [Any winner agrees to the use of their name in any publicity material, as well as their entry.] Any personal data relating to the winner or any other participants will be used solely for the purposes of the Competition and in accordance with applicable UK data protection law .
     
  19. The Competition and these terms and conditions are governed by English law and any disputes must be referred to the courts of England.
     
  20. This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or made in association with, Instagram or any other social media platform.
