Mencap is starting a new piece of research.

The research is about people with a learning disability and using public transport.

Mencap has received a grant from the Motability Foundation on a research project about public transport. 

The Motability Foundation fund, support, research and innovate so that all disabled people can make the journeys they choose.

We want to find out three things:

To find out how people with a learning disability feel, we will:

1. Listen to their stories about using public transport.

2. Ask people to film themselves using public transport.

An accessible survey question asking people to tell us what they think

3. Run a survey about public transport.

We would like you to fill in the Big Public Transport Survey.

You can fill in the survey from Monday 7 October to Friday 6 December 2024.

The survey has questions about you, public transport, wellbeing and work.

It should take you 10-15 minutes to fill in the survey.
