If things are going wrong with your services

Things that you need at home like gas, electricity, water, phone and broadband are sometimes called services.

I am not happy with my services

If you are not happy with your services, contact your service provider as soon as possible.

I do not have enough money to pay for my services

If you do not have enough money to pay for any of your services, contact your service provider as soon as possible.

My services are not working

Gas

If you can smell gas when everything is turned off, or you want to report a gas leak: 

  • phone 0800 111 999 if you are in England, Wales or Scotland 
  • phone 0800 002 001 if you are in Northern Ireland 

Electricity

If you want to report a power cut, phone 105.

It is free to phone 105 from your mobile phone or landline. 

Water

If you have no water, contact your water company.

Priority Services Register

A list of people with different disabilities.

The Priority Services Register is a list of people who can get extra help with their gas, electricity and water.

Each company that provides gas, electricity or water has their own Priority Services Register.
