Move for Mencap!
Get moving and help us support people with a learning disability A learning disability is to do with the way someone's brain works. It makes it harder for someone to learn, understand or do things. across the UK!
Lets go!
There are 1.5 million people with a learning disability in the UK. To help us support them, we’re going to be setting a challenge for our whole Mencap family – let's get moving for Mencap!
You can help us by completing your very own challenge around the number 1.5. You could run 15km, do 150 press ups, or dance to 15 songs - it’s up to you, so get creative and do something you enjoy!
Set yourself a challenge
No matter if you’re running, walking, wheeling, jumping, dancing, planking, or anything else, your challenge won’t just make you feel amazing at the end of it - you'll be helping us raise money so we can continue to provide vital support to the people who need it most.
What do I need to do?
Choose your challenge - whether it’s running a 1.5km a day to walking 150 steps of your garden each day. See below for some inspiration!
To get started, sign up below and let us know what challenge you are taking on - we’ve already had some pretty inventive suggestions!
Then just set up your Virgin Money Giving page, and start asking friends and family for donations. You can even nominate someone to take on the challenge with you and fundraise as a team!
