Why this event is so super!
These are super fun sporting missions because people with disabilities - AKA superheroes - call the shots!
There are no cut-off times and all kinds of 'gadgets and gizmos' are welcome on the course, from floats and boats to powerchairs, adaptive bikes, trikes and more. Plus superheroes can unite with sidekick family and friends to do as much or as little as they wish, with as much or as little support as they need.
Why superheroes?
Not all superheroes need to fly or have X-ray vision. Some superheroes can change the world through supporting someone in need, like our amazing support workers, our helpline volunteers or our fearless campaigners.
You can be super too, just like them by fundraising for Mencap and showing off your superpowers.
Choose your superhero challenge
Anyone can take part in the Superhero Series 2023 and all we ask is for you to raise a minimum of £100 for Mencap.
Take your pick from a virtual challenge around the world to more energising in person events.
A superhero triathlon

Get your relay team together for any one of three triathlon distances, including the most popular Sprint Superhero Triathlon which is a 150m swim, a 3km cycle ride and then a 1km push/run.

A race around the world

This is a virtual race to some of the world's greatest destinations which will see you visit many amazing places whilst fundraising from the convenience of your own neighbourhood.
When?: From Saturday 8 July to Sunday 6 August 2023.
