What is a tenancy agreement?
If you rent your home from a landlord, you should have a written agreement.
For most people who rent, this is called a tenancy agreement.
You and your landlord both sign the tenancy agreement as it is a legal contract.
If your landlord does not follow the rules in the tenancy agreement, contact the Learning Disability Helpline for advice as soon as you can.
If you do not follow the rules in your tenancy agreement, you might be asked to leave your home.
