How to get the Warm Home Discount
If you think you can get the Warm Home Discount you should contact your energy company to apply for it.
You cannot apply for the Warm Home Discount by calling the Government’s helpline.
In Scotland your energy company decides if you can get the Warm Home Discount.
Different energy companies have different rules about who can get the Warm Home Discount.
If you got the Warm Home Discount last year you should check with your energy company to make sure you can get it again this year.
Energy companies in Scotland have a limited amount of Warm Home Discounts they can give to people.
So contact your energy company as soon as possible to see if you can get the discount.
If you can get the Warm Home Discount your energy company will put the discount on your bill by 31 March 2024.
You must stay with the same energy company until you get the Warm Home Discount.
