Edel Harris OBE, Chief Executive of the learning disability charity Mencap, said: “We were delighted to have so many people join us for an evening of festive celebration, raising vital funds for Mencap.
“This Christmas is going to be a tough one for many due to the cost-of-living crisis, but for some people with a learning disability it is set to be even harder. All money raised through ticket sales and donations will help us to continue to provide crucial support for people with a learning disability, who are too often forgotten.”
