What you need to know after making a My Fund application
How soon will I hear if my application is successful?
We will look at all applications after the closing date, Friday 26 May.
We will let successful applicants know as soon as possible.
If you have not heard from us by Friday 30 June you will have been unsuccessful.
If you are unsuccessful you will be able to apply again next year.
How will applications be chosen?

A learning disability is to do with the way someone's brain works. It makes it harder for someone to learn, understand or do things.

What if the price of the item changes after my application but before I get the money?
We will work with you to understand what has changed and what we can do to support your application.
Do I need to spend the money by a certain time?
Yes.
You will need to spend the money in this My Fund year.
We will talk to you about this if your idea is chosen.
If you know you will not be able to spend the money this year you should apply next year instead.
Can I change my mind on what I spend the money on?
No.
The Panel who decide which applications are successful, make their choices based on the idea in the application so you cannot change your mind if you are successful.
What do I need to do if my application is successful?
If your application is successful, we will need to speak to you (or the person supporting you) at different times during the My Fund year. This is a really important part of My Fund.
If we do not hear from you, we will not be able to give you the money.
What happens if I don't have a bank account?
We will work with you to make sure you don't miss out on this money.
How soon will I get the money?
It will depend on what your idea is but we will work together to make sure you get your money quickly.
What will happen if I'm not successful?
If you have not heard from us by Friday 30 June, you will not have been successful.
You can always apply again next year.
