What is activism?

Activism means taking action to make change.

Protests are just one form of activism.

Protests are things like when you are with a group of people and you are all letting everyone else know you are not happy about something, or you want something to change.

Going to a campaign event with others, writing letters and speaking up are all ways to be an activist .

You don’t have to be an expert.
