We have worked with the Parliamentary Outreach service, which raises awareness about the work that happens in Parliament, to produce easy read guides. They are here to help you understand about how Parliament works.

- How laws are made - easy read PDF guide. This is about how laws are made.
- About select committees - easy read PDF guide. Select Committees are groups of MPs who look at an issue or keep an eye on the government’s work.
Training
The Parliamentary outreach team also provide free training for people who want to help people with a learning disability understand more about Parliament.

Empowering you to empower others
Learn how to empower others to engage with Parliament. If your organisation, those you work with or your community would benefit from a better understanding of Parliament and how to engage effectively with it, the ALD Train the Trainer programme may be for you.
