This seasonal story from the Network came to us from Catherine at TAG The Activity Group in Newry

"Finally, during the winter of 2021, at a particular exciting time of the year because it was just before Christmas, the TAG group were able to meet up again for the first time since the first lockdown.

There were still some COVID restrictions in place at that time and, because the group consists of 28 members and several volunteers, we were unable to get the whole group together to participate in an activity night so we arranged two separate nights instead which worked really well.

"Everyone was delighted to meet up again and we all made sure we stuck to the guidelines."

We held two brilliant evenings making Christmas Wreaths which were real works of art. Parents and carers were astounded by the finished creations and couldn't believe how fast the time had gone when we realised it was time to pack up and go home.

The nights were such a success and went so well, that we're now thinking of holding a similar evening to make an Easter wreath in the spring, after all they really seem to be the trend now don't they?!"
