My name's Patrick and I'm 19 years old. Mencap helped support me into an internship doing something I like. I hope in the future to find paid work.

Many people with a learning disability can and do want to work, but they are often denied the opportunity to because there are many barriers to them finding meaningful paid positions.
My name’s Zarah, I have Cerebral Palsy and a learning disability and I’m currently studying and looking for work. In the future I’d love to work in a care home.
