Our independent advice and information services help people with a learning disability and their families understand their rights and find out about services in their area. We specialise in making sure that our information is accurate, accessible and relevant to people with a learning disability and families throughout their lives.
We can provide information sessions on a wide range of subjects such as benefits, starting or leaving school, opportunities for employment, independent living, as well as specific disability information.
We deliver our services through a regional helpline and area based local advisers who offer personal support as individuals make decisions about their lives. We have local advisers in the northern and southern areas of Northern Ireland.

We can provide advocacy support to people with a learning disability to speak out on issues that are important to them, and to have a real say when key decisions are made about their life, such as moving from a long stay hospital to a new home in the community or when they are involved in family or other court proceedings.
We currently support people with a learning disability from the northern area being resettled from Muckamore Abbey Hospital. Find out more about our advocacy services in Northern Ireland.
