Ten acts competed before a full house of over 500 people at the Chicago Rock Café on Peter Street.
There was strong competition from boy band ‘Fake That', and contestants from firms including Yorkshire Bank, DLA Piper LLP and NVM Private Equity. However, it was ‘That Girl Band' from law firm Cobbetts who were the night's winners, with their version of the Spice Girls' ‘Stop Right Now.'
This year's judging panel included Manchester comedian Justin Moorhouse, Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce chief executive Angie Robinson and voice coach Jennifer John. Insider's editor, Michael Taylor was our enthusiastic and entertaining MC.
The event once again revealed some of the hidden talent within Manchester's professional community and proved a great night out. The Y Factor has become established as a key event in the social calendar.
