Our amazing team battled through the rain and ended the day in glorious sunshine, when they had a chance to dry off before heading to the post race reception for some well deserved food and a massage.
The Mencap cheering points were easy to spot and helped the runners look out for their family and friends, with encouraging cheers to follow them round the route.
This years' team also included Major Phil Packer, who completed his challenge to walk the marathon in 26 hours for 26 charities. For his Mencap mile Phil was supported by Izzy, a Mencap service user. A fantastic effort saw Phil finish just before midday on Monday 26 April.
We'd like to say a huge thank you to all our runners. Whether you were going for a personal best or just to finish the course and say "I did it!" - Congratulations.
Your hard work and effort will help Mencap continue to support people with a learning disability throughout England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
