Have a learning disability and want to volunteer with us?

We can make reasonable adjustments and provide Easy Read resources to make our volunteer roles accessible to apply for.

Many of our volunteering roles are already accessible to people with a learning disability, or they can be adapted to suit people’s individual needs.

There are many ways you can volunteer with us and gain new skills, meet new people and enjoy new activities.

We also involve people with a learning disability as expert co-trainers, campaigners and co-presenters.

If we don’t feel that a role isn’t right for you, we can look at other volunteer roles at Mencap that you could apply for.

Contact us for more information about accessible volunteering.

We are members of the Disability Action Alliance's Volunteer Charter.
