Mencap has expert spokespeople available for media interviews, including spokespeople with a learning disability.
Amy talks about her experiences with supported living services and how learning disability is portrayed in the media. Amy has a passion for social media and is an active blogger.
Ciara Lawrence specialises in children's issues, anti-bullying, parents with a learning disability and learning disability in the media. Ciara is also a representative of Inclusion Europe and Inclusion International.

Ismail specialises in employment and health issues. Ismail has wide experience at speaking in public including various events at parliament.
Ismail is also a qualified trainer and delivers learning disability awareness training.
Leroy specialises in Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD) issues, Changing Places facilities and advocacy. Leroy regularly speaks at conferences and events and works as a peer advocate.
Lloyd can talk about health issues and learning disability awareness. He is very experienced at speaking at conferences and events. Lloyd is a qualified trainer and delivers learning disability awareness training. Lloyd also works as a learning disability adviser to St George's hospital, Tooting.
Richard specialises in hate crime issues and supports Mencap's chief executive, at conferences and events. Richard is a qualified trainer.
Dan is head of policy and public affairs at Mencap. He talks about key policy areas that affect people with a learning disability and their families, such as social care, welfare reform and hate crime. He also talks about Mencap's work on Bills going through parliament, and work with government departments on key areas of public policy
Stephen is the campaigns officer in the north of England and has worked for Mencap since 2009. Originally from south Wales, Stephen is passionate about the north and can talk about all of Mencap's campaigning issues specific to the north of England.
Wayne is Mencap Cymru's director. He is from Pontypridd and graduated from UNCW Bangor in 1991 with a Bachelor of Divinity degree. He has worked in the third sector for a higher education charity, an employment charity and been at Mencap Cymru since 1998. He is a former chair of Dolen Cymru Lesotho, a trustee of Tai Pawb and sits on a number of Wales-wide strategic groups representing the voices of both people with a learning disability and their parents and carers.
