We want to everyone to have a Best Buddy.

Some people with a learning disability don't have many people in their lives who aren't paid to be there.

We want to reduce social isolation and loneliness. We want people with learning disability to experience new things and form meaningful friendships. We want your help!

Why should I get involved?

You'll get the chance to meet new people and take part in exciting opportunities together.

Mencap’s Best Buddy volunteering programme offers young people in Cornwall, with and without learning disabilities the chance to make meaningful friendships, through taking part in fun activities together.

Check out some great past events such as Tunes in the Dunes and the Watering hole perranporth.
