What is Employ Me?

Employ Me is Mencap’s supported employment programme. We support people to learn the skills they need to move into paid work.

This includes work experience, confidence building, CV writing, interview skills, job applications, support with travelling to and from work and work with employers to create opportunities.

Where is this programme available?

The Employ Me programme is currently available in London.

From Spring 2021 we hope to have programmes in the West Midlands, Somerset and Bristol.

How can I take part?

Why is this programme important?

We believe that all people with a learning disability have the right to work. We also believe that most people with a learning disability can work if they have the right support and the right opportunities.

We have been supporting people with a learning disability into work for more than 45 years and with this programme we think we will be able to help more.

Over the next 3 years we hope to expand this programme to as many parts of the country as possible.
