Mencap Sport, with the support of volunteers are hosting the 20th National Athletics Championship.

On average, 130 athletes with a learning disability compete for personal bests and medals.

We have recently added a festival of athletics which is suitable for those who do not want to, or who are not able to compete in the formal championship.

Canterbury Christ Church university and INAS are conducting some research and would like athletes at the Mencap National Athletics Championships to be involved.

The purpose of the study is to explore physical and sensory abilities in athletes with a Learning Disability. Download the information sheets for more information and to find out how to take part.
