Friday 21 March is World Down Syndrome Day

World Down Syndrome Day was chosen to be held on the 21st day of the third month each year, to signify the triplication of the 21st chromosome which causes Down Syndrome.

On this day we are asking you to spread awareness and fundraise for Mencap by Rocking Your Socks so we can continue to support people with a learning disability across the UK.

March is Free Wills Month

This March, if you are 55 or over you can write your will for free.

The best way to secure your families future is with a valid will, but did you know you can also support Mencap by leaving a gift in your will? Gifts in Wills allow us to continue striving for a kinder, fairer and more inclusive society for people with a learning disability.
