Live and learn. Mencap provides many opportunities for people to access a wide range of activities in their local community during the day, evening and at weekends. While the primary aim is to have fun, our support also enables people to build new relationships and develop personal and social skills which can lead to wider opportunities and enhance independence.

What leisure opportunities are available with Mencap?

Me Time

'Me Time' is a personally tailored, flexible development and leisure service provided by Mencap. This is often linked to our 'Employ Me' service and results in positive outcomes, such as paid employment.

Day opportunities

Mencap’s day opportunities supports people with a learning disability to have freedom, independence and optimism in a variety of positive and stimulating activities.

Me2 training

Me2 Training is aimed at all organisations in the voluntary, commercial and local government sectors.

Mencap Sport

Mencap Sport works with the governing bodies of sport and other sports providers to promote opportunities for people with a learning disability at all levels.

Arts and learning disability

The arts are a great way for anyone, regardless of ability, to explore who they are and to share their view of the world with others.
