Helping young people reach their goals.
What we do
Mencap Cymru's services team provide a wide range of support services to help people live the lives they want to live. Our services range from domiciliary support in the home and short term care to employment support and day services. All our services are developed around the needs of the individuals who use our services, and their families and carers.
How do you access services in Wales?
Services are developed in various ways, for example:
- following a Care Assessment by the local authority
- if you are in receipt of Direct Payments or the Independent Living Fund (ILF)
- if you come to Mencap Cymru directly to ask us to provide your support.
We currently provide services in Cardiff, Blaenau Gwent, Torfaen, Newport, Caerphilly, RCT, Merthyr Tudfil, Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire, Ceredigion, Powys, Wrexham, Flintshire and Conwy.
If you want to learn more about the services we provide and how to access them, please contact:
The Wales Learning Disability Helpline. Telephone: 0808 808 1111
They will be able to give you the contact numbers of your local service manager.
