- The surprising discovery of your first grey hair can get you reflecting on your life. There really is no getting away from it, we are all getting older. Part of coming to terms with that means accepting that we will have to say goodbye to the people closest to us one day – and that includes our parents.
- I have been living in supported housing since 1993, when it was run by Centre 404 near Arsenal in London. I liked it for a long time and got on with my flatmates and support workers. Sadly Centre 404 lost their bid in 2010 to support us so we got Outwards, who weren’t as good and we got a tenant who didn’t get on there.
- The Mencap Trust Company Board is wise and thoughtful. At the February Board, Ann Crook voiced a simple, unexpected, question: “Isn’t it about time a person with a learning disability joined the Board?”
