Can your school help Mencap?

Take part in Mencap's spelling competition and raise funds to help people with a learning disability.

Mencap's Spellathon:

• links to the curriculum with spelling lists from Oxford University Press,
• motivates students to learn with Ben 10 and his alien superheroes,
• educates students about learning disability.

Students learn from 10 phonics-based spelling lists - compiled by Oxford University Press - and raise lots of money in order to win a visit by one of the Ben 10 cartoon characters.

Schools benefit by claiming back 25% of money fundraised, and having the opportunity to win a fantastic interative whiteboard from the Specialist Computer Centre.

This is a fantastic simple way to engage students and raise funds for Mencap!
