Campaigns

Mencap Cymru believes that change is possible for people with a learning disability in Wales.

Over the last ten years we have successfully campaigned for the closure of all long stay hospitals, the introduction of annual health checks for people with a learning disability and the provision of Changing Places toilets to help people with a profound and multiple learning disability enjoy all that Wales has to offer.
