Grants for people with a learning disability
Two types of grant for people with a learning disability are available from a charity called the AdCare Foundation.
Holiday grants
The main grant available is for people with a learning disability to pay for their own holiday costs or those of a supporter.
General grants
The other type, which has a much smaller fund, is a general grant for 'extras' that may not be avialable through public funds.
What the AdCare Foundation does
The Adcare Foundation is a registered charity which was established in 1985 to provide funds for people with a learning disability. The AdCare Foundation is funded from voluntary donations.
