Fundraising is an important part of Mencap's work, and every penny we raise helps to provide support for people with a learning disability and their families and carers, here in Northern Ireland.

Our mission is to provide fundraising opportunities to our supporters in Northern Ireland, and help them raise funds for Mencap whilst experiencing amazing personal achievements through everything from hosting tea parties to sponsored walks and running marathons to overseas treks and cycles.

Your chosen fundraising activity can be as unique as you are, and we invite you to select from one of our many opportunities below - it’s your chance to make a difference!

Tea With Me

Next time you put the kettle on why not make an event of it and host a Tea With Me party in aid of Mencap? We've got everything you need to get your party started, including posters, invitations and recipes - in fact a whole pack of Tea With Me information and party ideas!

Swim the Mencap Mile

Organise your own Mencap Mile event at a local pool or lake near you. Why not invite friends to complete the distance with you or challenge them to compete for the fastest time?

Walk With Me

Create your own personal challenge with Mencap's Walk With Me event. Whether you take on 100 metres or 5 km, and decide to run, walk or push a buggy - the challenge is yours!
