Tandems are a great way to get people with learning difficulties cycling
Posted on 15 Oct 12 at 20:46 by Alex Reeves
Charlotte, my elder daughter, has severe learning difficulties and autism. We have found that tandem riding is perfect to keep her happy and busy.
We set up a Registered Charity, called Charlotte's Tandems, so that others can experience tandem riding for FREE.
We have lots of tandems all over the country but need more borrowers and lots of people to tell people about us. When we had an article in the Cerebra magazine we got lots of interest. Please could you tell me what publications you get, so that we can have articles there too.
You can contact me via our website www.charlottestandems.weebly.com or via our Facebook Group.
Best wishes,
Alex
