Hello there. My Wife and I have just received the above for our baby. For various reasons, we are considering the possibility of adoption and would welcome if people have any advice or experience in this regard.

Hi jon, I felt I had to reply to your post. This must be really difficult for you and your wife I think you would find on here and elsewhere that you will get differing advice from different people. I would say that you need to find out as much information as possible before coming to any decisions. Only you and your wife will know what is right for you.

I am mum to 2 sons who have learning disabilities and I have to say I wouldn't be without them they bring a lot into our family's life, but life certainly throws up a lot of hard stuff which we have to deal with.
