Flash mob singalong with Loveable Rogues
Friday 16 November 2012
Mencap’s Little Noise Sessions are holding a flash mob pop singalong with the Loveable Rogues and karaoke ukulele sensations KaraUke!

Mencap is inviting London’s Hackney citizens, local disability groups, as well as fans of Olly Murs, Lawson and Loveable Rogues – and really anyone who fancies it – to come and join the first-ever Little Noise Sessions’ KaraUke flash mob. And it’s totally free!
Ahead of their Mencap Little Noise Sessions gig, supporting Olly Murs on Tuesday 20 November, ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ trio, Eddie, Sonny and Te – otherwise known as Loveable Rogues – will take to the streets of Hackney. They will busk a few of their hits, as part of the singalong flash mob with a difference.
- When: Tuesday 20 November
- Where: St John-at-Hackney Church (front entrance steps)
- What time: 4.45pm-5.15pm
London-based group KaraUke will warm up the crowd with their quirky ukulele interpretations of pop hits by the likes of One Direction and Carly Rae Jepson, followed by a short busking set by Loveable Rogues.
“We're really excited to be busking in Hackney,” said Loveable Rogues. “It'll be a fantastic warm-up to our Little Noise Session gig with Olly Murs. The flash mob is all about raising awareness for Mencap, a brilliant cause, so please tell all your friends to come down and join in the fun. We want the biggest, noisiest crowd possible, so bring your best singing voices – and a ukulele, if you have one!”
Mencap will be giving away exclusive information about the KaraUke flash mob on Twitter over the next few days, so be sure to follow @little_noise and @mencap_charity and look for the hashtag #LNSmob.
Mencap Little Noise Sessions, in association with Toshiba, will be taking place at St John-at-Hackney Church from Monday 19 to Sunday 25 November.
