Members of Keane join Little Noise line-up as Gary Barlow fans camp overnight

Tom Chaplin and Tim Rice-Oxley of alt-rock band Keane have today (19 November) been revealed as surprise special guests for the closing night of Mencap’s Little Noise Sessions.
The duo, who are currently in the middle of a UK tour, will join Karin Park and Amy Macdonald, to round off an incredible week of music. Performing without their Keane bandmates, the pair (pictured) will take to the stage in the intimate surroundings of the St-John-at-Hackney Church in east London.
They complete this year’s varied line-up, which includes Olly Murs, Richard Hawley, The Maccabees and Noah & the Whale.
Happy campers
Meanwhile, Gary Barlow fans camped out overnight at the St John-at-Hackney Church, ahead of his inaugural Little Noise Sessions performance. The legendary British singer-songwriter will tonight headline the opening night of this year's gigs.
Neil Alexander, Mencap’s celebrity manager, said: “I thought I was here early when I got to the church at 8am, but then I met this group of fantastic Gary Barlow fans who had camped overnight ahead of his Little Noise gig tonight.
“It’s the first time in Little Noise history that fans have camped overnight, and what a dedicated bunch they are – the temperatures dropped to one degree last night! They really do have a treat in store when Gary takes to the stage, in what promises to be an intimate and incredible set.”
Mencap’s Little Noise Sessions, in association with Toshiba, run from Monday 19 November to Sunday 25 November, with proceeds going to Mencap.
