Get into the festive spirit and raise money for Mencap at candlelit carol services across the UK

This Christmas, Mencap is holding six Carols by Candlelight services to celebrate the festive season and support people with a learning disability.

Each service will include traditional Christmas songs and carols, as well as readings by celebrities and special guests. Will Young will be reading at the London service on 8 December, along with author Penny Vincenzi, journalist Penny Junor and actor Edward Fox. Guests can round off the festive evening with drinks and mince pies in the church. 

Mencap's Carols by Candlelight events will take place in Cardiff (2 December), London (8 December), Newcastle (8 December), Belfast (9 December), Leeds (12 December) and Liverpool (16 December).

The money raised at all six events will go to Mencap to help provide life changing opportunities for people with a learning disability.
