Our Friends Acoustic is a new concert for Mencap
Our Friends Acoustic is a new 80s-themed acoustic concert to raise money for Mencap.
The event will take place on Thursday 13 May at IndigO2, part of the O2 complex in London. The line-up so far includes Andy Bell from Erasure, Jimmy Somerville, Nik Kershaw, Howard Jones, China Crisis, Carol Decker from T'Pau, Steve Strange from Visage, The Christians and Cutting Crew.*
For VIP ticket holders, celebrations will continue after the live show at an exclusive after-party, with DJs spinning 80s tunes until late.
"Our Friends Acoustic promises to be an exiting reunion with friends and fans. And we'll be helping raise money for Mencap, which we all know is a great cause," said Nik Kershaw. "It's a one-off concert so everyone who loves music should get their ticket before they sell out."
The event is being organised by Mencap's special events team, which is also responsible for Mencap's Little Noise Sessions, and is supported by Absolute 80s Radio.

Tickets cost £25 or £50 for VIP tickets. VIP ticket holders receive a premium seat, access to a private bar, entry to the aftershow party and a complimentary memento of the evening. 13th May Fantastic evening really enjoyed ourselves, Jimmy Somerville's vocals were brilliant and raised the roof!! (hope he performs in london again) All for a good cause aswell.

I've booked a ticket for the stalls. Would've booked a VIP ticket but I like to be close to the stage! Why couldn't we have had the option where to sit?!
