Housing

Mencap and Golden Lane Housing can provide flexible housing options so people can live as they choose. Sam’s father talks about how Sam has developed since living in his new home.

His independence skills are also noticeably different now. He was scared to do things before. Now we see him in the kitchen, helping himself.

David, Sam's dad.

Sam's house mates, Kayleigh and Jack, talk about what it is like living in their home.

If you would like to talk to somebody about supported living and find a Mencap service near you, contact Mencap Direct on 0808 808 1111.
