Video mapping is a bit like VJ-ing but more interactive. With VJ-ing you’ve got set images, but with this you can make whatever you imagine.

The room was really dark when I arrived, and I thought that no-one was there!
Then, when I entered the room, I realised it had to be dark – we were using projectors!
I got introduced to Alex, and he showed me how to use the software he designed called “painting with light”.
We spent most of the session experimenting with the technology. It’s very similar to the programme Paint, except instead of just painting a flat image, you are projecting onto something and changing the space around you.
