Developing ICT skills and networks of support.
We know that children and young people with a learning disability might need additional support, therefore we pilot projects and services to improve practice. We share best practice and guidance with our peers, parents, careers and the professionals supporting children and young people.

Changemakers was a one-year project (ending April 2013) to engage young people with a learning disability in social action. Over 850 young people worked towards making their communities more inclusive places by volunteering and being more involved within their community. The young people have created more positive attitudes towards young people with a learning disability. The project was a great success and as a result we have co-produced best practice guides with the young community changemakers.
